  • How many passengers are on each excursion?
    U.S. Coast Guard Regulations limits each tour to a maximum of 6 passengers.
  • Do I need to purchase my tour or charter in advance?
    All purchases are made in advance via the website.
  • What time should I arrive?
    Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for check-in.
  • Where do we get on the boat?
    All tours pickup & drop-off passengers at: Brooklyn: One 15 Marina 159 Bridge Park Drive Brooklyn, NY 11201 Private charters may choose either the Brooklyn marina or any listed below: Queens: Worlds Fair Marina 1 Worlds Fair Marina Flushing, New York, NY 11368 Manhattan (east side): Skyport Marina E 23rd St & FDR Drive S New York, NY 10010 Manhattan (lower west side): Pier 25 Marina 225 West St New York, NY 10013 New Jersey: Liberty Landing Marina 80 Audrey Zapp Dr Jersey City, NJ 07304
  • What if I am late for departure?
    NYC by BOAT will wait an additional 15 minutes after the scheduled departure time. However, out of courtesy to other passengers the boat will depart after 15 minutes.
  • What is your refund policy?
    No refunds will be issued within 7 days of scheduled departure. NYC by BOAT will allow passengers to reschedule any booked excursion to a future tour, subject to availability.
  • Is there a restroom on board?
    Yes!
  • Is smoking allowed?
    Passengers are limited to smoking on the stern only.
  • Can I bring food and beverages on board?
    Yes, passengers are welcome to bring their own food on board. We also provide chips and beverages.
  • Can I bring a camera?
    Absolutely! We encourage you to take all the pictures you’d like! In addition, if you would like NYC by BOAT to film your trip on a GoPro HD camera, we can offer the video as a souvenir.
  • What about gratuities?
    Gratuities for captains are greatly appreciated.
  • Do you reschedule for weather?
    Your tour or charter is rain or shine. Only in extreme weather conditions do we reschedule.
